2024 New Year’s Eve Rifle Match Final Results

We had eleven (11) competitors come out to brave the rain and fire the 2024 New Year’s Eve Rifle Match.

Winners with a bottle of bubbly, (l-r) Kyle Matzelle – Service Rifle, Cruz Stoneburner – F-Open, and Matt Wein – F-TR

In F-Open we had two 400 possibles fired. Cruz Stoneburner placed first with a 400-29, followed closely by Randy Budde with a 400-26.

In F-TR Matt Wein finished first with a 397-10, followed by Leo Cebula with a 392-22.

In Service Rifle we had Kyle Matzelle placing the high score over his dad, Al. Kyle had a 394-12.

2024 New Years Eve Rifle Match

The question was asked at the end of the awards ceremony:  “When is the next Match?” We didn’t have an answer at that time. However, today we do. It will be February 8, 2025. The program is: 2025 Winter Mid-Range Prone League Program 2.

2024 Annual Foul Weather Rifle Match Final Results

Fourteen (14) stalwart competitors braved the cold and snow to attend the Annual Foul Weather Rifle Match, aka “Get away from the in-laws match”.

Ray Gross (r) congratulates Pete Stumpo for the high score for the day.

We had three (3) 400’s posted. Peter Stumpo, who was the high shooter for all categories had a 400-28, followed by Nick Nadenoff with a 400-24. Both were firing F-Open. Additionally, Ray Gross fired a 400-27 with his Palma Rifle. All impressive scores.

In F-TR the top two scores were Robin Retzloff with a 399-19 and Mike Boughner with a 395-21.
