On a sunny late April day the last of the 2024 Winter Mid-Range Prone matches was held. Seven (7) shooters came out.

High Any Rifle shooter was Pete Church with a 396-19X. High Service Rifle was Tom Feige with a 383-7X. High F-Open was Cruz Stoneburner with a 399-24X.

2024 WMRP Match 5

This was the end of the Winter Mid-Range Prone matches for 2024. Next up is the Suburban Mid-Range Prone League. The first match is on May 11th. Program is: 2024 Suburban Mid-Range Prone League 2. Please note squadding for the Suburban starts at 8:15 AM, and match commences at 9:00 AM Eastern time for both.

Ten (10) Competitors were invited to and competed in the 2023-2024 Snow Country Shoot-Off. Steve Jones with a 1278.3 won the F-Class and Cameron Swart won the Sling with a 1241.0.

Shooters and Equipment

Eleven (11) Shooters attended the fourth of the Winter Mid-Range Prone League Matches on Saturday, April 13, 2024. From examining the scores, I suspect the conditions were dicey.

For F-Open the high shooter of six (6) competitors was Cruz Stoneburner with a score of 391-18. He was followed closely by Don Hicks with a score of 391-13.

For Service Rifle there were three (3) competitors. High amongst them was Kyle Matzelle with a score of 391-15.

2024 WMRP Match 4

The next and last match of the 2024 Winter Mid-Range Prone League will be potentially on April 27, 2024. Watch this site for information on whether weather will allow it to run or not.

The match for Saturday, April 13, 2024 is ON.

Please note the tent is down, dress appropriately.

On a Saturday morning with a switchy wind eight (8) shooters fired the third of the Winter Mid-Range Prone League matches at the Midland County Sportsman’s Club.

Only F-Open had sufficient shooters to mention a winner. That was Seth Stoneburner with a 393-24X.
