Midland had a small turn-out for the first ever Michigan Fullbore Rifle Prone Championship on Saturday, May 24, 2008.  A total of eight competitors, one of which had to shoot for practice due to a rifle that did not meet Fullbore Prone rules.  However, the ones that did attend enjoyed a bright sunny day, that wasn't too hot, but gave us a challenge with a breeze that switched directions frequently.

Bret Solomon was high F-Open with a 449-31, John Droelle was high F-TR with a 437-15, and Peter Church was the high Target Rifle with a 445-29. 

I haven't yet figured out how many records may have been set, but will work through that this week, and post a list here.
