Twenty hardy, or maybe psychotic souls braved high winds, and pouring rain to compete in the 2006 Halloween BSA Charity Match at the Midland County Sportsman's Club on October 28, 2006. A match committee decision first dropped the course of fire to three 15 shot strings, and then when competitors were getting wet laying under the tarp from the driving rain, reduced the course to a single 15 shot string. Tom Bellestri was first F-Class with a 150-14X. Jerry Engelman was high Any Rifle with a 149-5, and Larry Kindell was high Service Rifle with a 141-4X. With all of the rain, winds, and frankly, icky weather, we were able to raise $500 for Crew 7772 from Midland, through the generosity of Richfield Industries, and the Midland County Sportsman's Club. As such it was a successful day. Look for our next match at Thanksgiving!
