On October 10, 2009, we completed the Suburban Fullbore and Mid-Range Prone Leagues for 2009.  Turn-out was lighter than past years, however, the shooters who did turn-out enjoyed the matches.

The Any Rifle/Target Rifle winner was Leo Cebula with a 1795-111X, F-Open winner was Bret Solomon with a 1788-100X, and F-TR Winner was Jim Dietlein with a 1174-39 (only two fired matches). 

Please send any comments about program, schedule, or anything related to the league to Leo Cebula.  Midland County Sportsman's Club would like to get your feedback about the competition.

We are now coming down to the end of the shooting season with just a few matches left:

• Halloween BSA Charity Match:  October 31, 2009, come out and support a BSA Crew from Midland - hats to all competitors
• Annual Foul Weather Rifle match:  November 28, 2009, work off some of that Thanksgiving turkey on the Saturday after.
• Snow Country English Match Series:  Halloween to April of 2010, keep in practice by shooting smallbore prone indoor.  We do F-Class and typical sling shooting:  All Any Sights, or half Any and half Irons.
